And the results are in...
LAKE. Spruce to be exact...nice and far away from pretty much everything.
FML.
Pros:
-A/C
-Greek Row
-Doubles/hall-style...not a fan of the suites.
-At least its not East Campus...
-I mean maybe the lake would be pretty to look at?
Cons:
-Its far away from like, everything.
-Small
-I heard the lake smells like shit.
-I move in on the 24th...thats one more day in Leesburg...
-My fourth choice...only in-front of East Campus
Well, on a different note and some better news I was able to swap GHIST 150 for an earlier time on MonWedFri, which clears up my evenings for Rugby or whatever club sport I so choose...yayyy...

Less than a month to go...
So...theres really nothing much to say so far. Just finishing up typical senior summer nonsense...cruise...just got back from the beach with a real good friend of mine...etc.
Today is July 24th, so we now are less than a month out. Fantastic, really. Now comes wrapping up my old life and beginning to start the next chapter.
I guess this is just to say I havent forgot about this...I'm just waiting till 8/4 when room assignments come out. I requested:
1. Village
2. Bluestone
3. Eagle
4. Lake
5. Skyline (Other than UREC and E-Hall I really want nothing to do with East Campus...)
I'll let you guys know what happens.
Till then,
Eric

43 days to go
So I guess now that footballs done and gone I have way to much free time on my hands during the summer...which is probobly why I'm here. I've been told I write well and have tried writing a book on three seperate occasions, but I dont have the patience to go past the first chapter.
But all thats boring, and quite frankly I feel like none of you give half a shit.
I'm Eric, but everyone calls me Biddy (I have a nice long Basque last name that nobody can pronounce, hence how Biddy came about.) I've played football for eight years as a left tackle, and have lettered twice in it through highschool (before you ask, no, I'm not walking on at JMU, thats another story for another time.)
I'll be attending JMU in the fall (as the title suggests, 43 more days till move-in day August 23rd) as an International Affairs major. Not quite sure what I'm gonna minor in though, but I'm thinking Criminal Justice. I eventually want to go to work in Federal Law Enforcement or the CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, etc.
Like I said, i'm not walking on for football. I went from 273 to 235, tore the labrum in my one shoulder and dislocated the other, and as a result of which all my lifts drastically decreased. Instead, I'll be trying out for the club lax team or joining the rugby team, and yes, I'll be rushing a frat.
I guess the whole point of this is give me something to keep busy with and perhaps an outlet, and if any high school seniors, juniors, etc are out there maybe they can see what the whole "College Experience" is all about as I go through it myself.
Soooo...yeah stick around and check back every once and awhile, aight? Bet.
